A Diamond among Gems

I may be rough and you may not recognize me, but I am the Diamond among the Gems. Being rough and Unpolished you may not recognize me or want me because it could take a little bit of work to make me polished so that I may shine and be your crowning jewel. Sure other Gems may look good now, but in the end a Diamond is definately the stone you want not an overpolished Gem. Because one Diamond is worth more than a dozen Gems. You can bank on that.

Yum!!!

Ok, its been three days since Ive had my wisdom teeth pulled and Im absolutely craving solid (real) food. Jello and Pudding and Smoothies are all good, but when Im hungry- I want real food. So I found out that if you mix mashed potatoes with chicken broth and rice you have a fabulous tasting meal that is actually good for you! It tastes sooooo good, it almost makes the fact I cant eat any real solid foods fade from my mind. Anyways… This is my 3rd post today. Not much else to do when you’re recovering from getting wisdom teeth pulled.

Oh Brother

Somedays I dont think much of my brothers. But then there are times- I was just surfin through my brothers myspace page and in a way it was like a window into his life. He and and I are a lot alike (which I wont admit very often) and we are also different. Maybe its the meds im on, but when did I get two cool brothers? Indeed there are times when they can be very annoying and I cant stand to be around them, but Im glad that they are my brothers, cant help but love em.

Just because I can

Today. Such an ordinary, non-important day it is. However you never know what could have been. So here’s the events of a year ago today that used to mean everything. I didnt have to say anything, but I couldnt let today pass without saying anything even though there’s no reason to celebrate such a day. Just remembering what could have been and what used to be.

A little less wisdom and a little bit more pain

So I got my wisdom teeth out today, pretty interesting story actually… I’ll tell ya’ll sometime when im not so out of it, just wanted to update everyone.

“No Food After Midnight”

At least thats the rule anyway. I go into surgery tomorrow (and I probably will be by the time most of you read this) and Im not really scared… Im nervous. I dont mind the getting put under part but I just dont know what happens after everything goes dark. My brother says its like sleeping without dreaming and its over “like that”, but Im still not too excited to find out for myself. I know that its just getting my wisdom teeth pulled, but Its still the first time Im going get put under. If somehow you read this before 10am, say a small prayer for me and I’ll do the same for you someday.
