I dont know how you all feel about this

But I got a bulletin from a former roomate who’s in the Marines and he sent this.
-
Recently, Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there.
Starbucks replied, telling the Marines- thank you for your support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So, as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by not buying any of their products!
As a war vet writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn’t mean we don’t support the troops on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house for what they believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along. Thanks very much for your support. I know you’ll all be there again when I deploy once more. “Semper Fidelis.”

PLEASE DON’T DELETE THIS … ALLOW IT TO BE PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT THEM OR NOT!!!

Please RENAME this “STARBUCKS DENIES COFFEE TO MARINES repost

I dont go to StarBucks in the first place, but if I did… yup- I take this into consideration.

  1. Starbucks is a large organization and liked by many many. There are also many many people that support our troups and don’t like it when an organization puts out negative attitudes toward the troops and the war. None of us like war but we are there and I am glad it is not here.

  2. Im not sure what you’re really trying to say here, yes people can support the troops and still like Starbucks. Im not a huge fan of Starbucks because around here there are cheaper places to drink coffee that tastes just as good. Nothing about the fact that Starbucks wont send our troops some of their coffee products because they dont support the war OR ANYONE IN IT, has crossed my mind. Im on the fence about the war, I think that Bush has gone about it the wrong way, but it was probably going to happen sooner or later for some reason or another and all of that aside- I support my friends that are serving and their fellow troops defending my freedoms.
