What she’ll probably never know

“You danced into my heart,
Like sunshine on the water,
And my world a better place to be.

And wherever I may go
On this crazy road called life,
I’ll always keep a part of you with me.

Beautiful- Beautiful-
Angels before wings.
You touched my soul-
And forever will
Make my dreams more Beautiful. “

As the famous saying goes, “So there’s this girl…”
In short, there’s this girl who has helped me get back on my feet and makes me want to be a better person. She may never know how I feel– but I’ve truly enjoyed being around her and being able to feed off her positive energy when I’ve been going through these crazy past couple of months.

I heard this song by Bill Medley, and when I hear him sing it as only he can, it reminds me of her, which brings a smile to my face with a renewed energy and a reminder that I am stronger than what I can feel from time to time.

And…?

‘I may not be a man of god- reverend, but I know right, and I know wrong, and I have the good grace to know which is which.’ -Nicholas Angel,Hot Fuzz

Ya know, I hate hiding what my heart feels.
I dont know if anyone understands.
Always jumping to conclusions and givng me that look
because I do something like occasionally being anti-social.

If its marketed right, you’ll buy it;

Around the Bend

October 8, 2007 Sam Leave a comment

‘Lord, Ive come a long way-
Here’s another bright day.
Ive paid what I gotta pay-
To play what I gotta play.

I was born in the country
Strayed into town
I go anywhere
To see what goin down…

Ive seen cowards and heros
Fast as the wind
I go down every road there is
To see whats around the bend

Girls- Ive had me a few
Some were false and some were true
Tasted the honey and dew
Lovin I’ll never get through

You let me rest my weary head
Weary head
Lets find out what this life is
Before we’re dead
Before we’re dead..

I was born in the country
Strayed into town
I go anywhere
To see what goin down
Ive seen cowards and heros
Fast as the wind
I go down and road there is..

Ive been down every road there is
To see whats around the bend.

As Greenday Says..

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when september ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

like my father’s come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends

Happy October Everybody!

The difference between “Heros” and “Legends”

May 4, 2007 Sam Leave a comment

“Slip out the back before they knew you were there-
At worst you’ll see that nobody cared.
Cuz you dont want to be around when it all goes down
Even heros know when to be scared”
-Fort Minor, Slip out the Back

I guess that’s the difference between a Hero and a Legend. A legend would want to be there when it all goes down no matter how bad the situation could get.

“Remember kid, Hero’s get remembered- but Legends Never Die.”
-Babe Ruth, The sandlot
